Cooking Instructions: For enhanced taste, add 2 teaspoons of oil or 1 tablespoon of butter and a pinch of salt for each dry cup of rice prepared. Stove Top Method: Bring 2 cups (500 ml) of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup (250 ml) of Royal Sella Basmati Rice. Cover the pot with tight-fitting lid and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve while still hot. Electric Rice Method: Use ratio 1 cup (250ml) rice to 2 cups (500ml) water. See rice cooker manual for specific operation. Microwave Method: (1200 watt rating) Combine 1 cup (250 ml) rice to 2 cups (500 ml) water in a microwave-safe tray. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid and cook on high setting for 15 minutes. Leave in microwave for 5 minutes to rest and cool. Cook times are approximate. Microwave vary with manufacturer.
