Instacart powers many grocery delivery orders and knowing which type of order you placed helps you get the support you need as fast as possible. 

Get support for your order placed on Instacart 

Orders placed on Instacart.com or the Instacart app are fully managed by Instacart, from browsing and checkout to shopping and delivery.

To get help through Instacart:

  • Select Connect with Instacart at the bottom of the Help Center homepage.
  • Select an issue/question under the order, Payments, charges & promos, or Instacart+.
    • Note: Selecting View order details on the order takes you to the order itself.
  • Select Get help at the bottom of any article in the Help Center.
  • Call 1-888-246-7822.

Get support for your order placed on a retailer’s website  

Orders placed on a retailer's app or website are managed by the retailer. Instacart powers the shopping and delivery, but your account, payment, and order details live with the retailer. If you placed an order through a retailer’s website, you can manage and update your orders there, not through Instacart.

Not sure which type you have? If you checked out on one of the following retailers' apps or websites, your order is managed by the retailer:

  • Aldi
  • BJ's Wholesale Club
  • Giant Eagle / Market District
  • Harris Teeter
  • Hy-Vee
  • Kroger (and Kroger-family stores: City Market, Dillons, Food4Less, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Jay C, King Soopers, Mariano's, Pick 'n Save, QFC, Ralphs, Smith's)
  • Lowe's
  • Meijer
  • Metro
  • Schnucks
  • Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Stater Bros.
  • Wakefern (ShopRite, PriceRite, The Fresh Grocer, Fairway Market, Gourmet Garage)
  • Walmart Canada
  • Wegmans

Remember, if you’re having a technical issue, the Instacart app is only compatible with—

  • Apple devices with an iOs or iPadOs version of 14.0 and higher
  • Android devices with an Os version of 5.1 and higher

To check and update your device’s operating system to the latest version, go here for Android devices and Apple devices. If you can’t update your device’s operating system to meet these requirements, you may have issues using the app. If this happens, please use Instacart.com instead.
